Check Out Our New Story Map And Help Support Our Work In 2018
Hope you are having a wonderful holiday season. I know a lot of you have had incredible early winter fishing and others dreaming of warmer days on the river. As our year-end deadline is approaching fast, we need to make sure we have all of our Madison River supporters join together to ensure that 2018 is our most successful yet.
As a reminder of all the foundation has done and continues to do we have created a map where you can check out all of our projects here.
It was an exciting year for the Madison River Foundation and we are looking forward to all we have planned in 2018. Just a few of the things we have planned, our Riparian Restoration Plan is almost done (we’re VERY close to our fundraising goal for this and would love your help) and 2 of these projects will start come spring. We have hired Chelsea on as our Outreach and Project Coordinator and have a new Big Sky Watershed Corps member starting the beginning of the year to work on education focusing on aquatic invasive species. We will continue our macro-invertebrate study, work with the bubble curtain, and fencing projects on the river. Soon you will be receiving information for our spring advocacy training. We have a lot to look forward to and we need your support.
With your donation of $100 or more you will receive a MFC fly box with local artist Bern Sundell’s art AND be entered to win a one of a kind framed picture taken by John Juracek with flies tied by Craig Matthews.
Your year-end gift is essential to kicking off another year of preserving, protecting and enhancing the legendary Madison River. You can donate online or mail to PO Box 1527, Ennis, MT 59729.
We appreciate your continued support and look forward to continuing to work together with you to maintain this wonderful place. If you ever have any questions or want more information on the foundation please call, email, or stop by the office– we’d love to talk with you.
This year volunteers donated 490 hours of their time to restoration, education, protection, and fundraising with MRF.
