Bear Creek Days will be held May 16, 17 & 18 this year. Four hundred kids from local area schools will take part in many outdoor activities over these three days. Students will learn about raptors, the importance of fire in our ecosystem, all about local wildlife’s tracks and scat and more. The Madison River Foundation will participate on May 17 by hosting a fly casting workshop so please let us know if you want to help out. We will also grill hamburgers for the kids on that day so contact the office if you are willing to volunteer your services. Former volunteers tell stories of how much they enjoyed meeting and teaching local children at Bear Creek Days. Most return every year.
