Ennis School Monitoring Trip
In case you didn’t catch it in the paper:
On October 5th 3rd grade students arrived at Valley Garden fishing access site to learn about water quality testing. The lessons were focused on how science in the classroom can be applied in the field. Water quality testing subjects such as monitoring turbidity, dissolved oxygen, pH and macro-invertebrates were discussed. All lessons were related to how monitoring occurs throughout the Madison Valley on numerous streams. The Ennis School 3rd grade teachers, the GROWW Program, Madison River Foundation staff, and parent volunteers all assisted with delivering the materials and making the day a success.
