New MRF Team Members

With your support we have successfully grown our organization to include three interns this summer! We are excited to introduce Maggie Callow, Casey Cooper, and Tatiana Frontera. These three aspiring conservation advocates have joined our team for the next three months through the Montana Conservation Corps program. The interns will be supporting our efforts both in the office and out in the field.

We will also be working together with MRF partners such as the MT Fish, Wildlife and Parks, US Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, local nonprofits, and others to further their educational experience while supporting cohesive projects in our area. Learn more about these exciting new staff members by visiting Our Team on our website.

Community MRF Scholarships Awarded

Thank you to our members and donors who have funded our education account. We are thrilled to announce that the MRF has awarded three $2500 scholarships to graduating students in our area! These students have worked hard to contribute to the community and to excel in school. Congratulations to Addison Retherford and Taylor Barney at Ennis High School and to Zach Gould at West Yellowstone High School.

2022 Watershed Speaker Series

Jeff Laszlo joined us this week as our first speaker in a summer series on various topics affecting the Madison Watershed. He gave great insights to managing restoration of wetlands on his property while maintaining a symbiotic relationship with the needs of the ranch.

These presentations occur on the last Tuesday of the month at 5pm at the Madison Valley Public Library. Virtual attendance and recorded presentations are available. See schedule.

2022 Annual Fundraiser Dinner

Save the Date! Our Annual Fundraiser Dinner will be held on Saturday, July 2nd at the Madison Double R. The event begins at 5pm and will include both a silent and live auction, dinner, and a live concert on the river. Proceeds from the event will go towards conservation efforts for the Madison River.
