Our Mission & Vision

Who We Are: The Foundation is a 501(C)(3) non-profit, membership based organization that was founded in 2002 in the heart of the Madison Valley with focus on the Madison River ecosystem and its tributaries.

Mission Statement: Supporting a healthy Madison River watershed through conservation, restoration and education while continually striving to return more cold, clean water back to the river.

Vision Statement: To serve as a leading advocate for the Madison River watershed, ensuring sustainable management and collaboration among our conservation partners for the health of our ecosystem and the benefit of our community.

Our Approach: We unite landowners, ranchers, fishing guides, government agencies, and investors to aggregate data, prioritize projects, and effectively allocate resources for the preservation and enhancement of the Madison Valley. Through proactive community engagement, we aim to foster a thriving river ecosystem that benefits all partners.
