This summer, the Madison River Foundation and the Madison Conservation District will be cohosting a watershed speaker series on the last Tuesday of the month from May – September at 5pm MT.
On June 28th, Karin Boyd and Remy Georgeton will be presenting on sediment mobility and spawning gravel availability on the Madison River. Over Karin’s 29-year career, she has worked on restoring river systems affected by channelization, dams, dewatering, bank armoring, fire, floods, floodplain development, agriculture, and mining. Karin is currently the principal owner of Applied Geomorphology Inc. in Bozeman. Remy attended Montana State University and earned a degree in Civil Engineering. Remy currently works as with Pioneer Technical Services, an engineering and environmental services firm.
Presentations will be available both in person at the Madison Valley Public Library and virtually.
